Abstract

This paper proposes Microstrip Rectangular Patch Antenna in which metamaterial properties applied at ground Plane. The paper also analyzed the performance of Microstrip Patch Antenna with and1 without using the metamaterial structure at 10 GHz. The works mainly include Metamaterial as Defected ground plane. The Open Slot Split Ring resonator is used as metamaterial. The effective permeability parameters are retrieved from s parameters for unit cell Split Ring Resonator, revealing the presence of magnetic resonances around resonance frequency 10 GHz. All antenna parameters such as Return Loss, Gain, and Band width were checked. The main focus of this paper was to check the effect of metamaterial so that Patch antenna used for multi band operation.

Abstract

Reduction of human efforts has become the essential motto for rapidly rising industries now days. Remote Control Technology has been a leader in innovative applications of wireless Radio Frequency (RF) remote control and telemetry devices. In this technological era as there is rapid growth in the number of industries and the different technologies used there, fault monitoring is a crucial task since the occurrence of one fault will affect the entire functioning of the system as a result of sequential faults; as a remedy here we made the system which not only detects the fault but also finds its solution without much men efforts. One of the main advantages of this system is that it does not require any hard wires or optical fiber cables for the data transmission as well as for fault detection. This paper displays the faults occurred in an industry using RF Technology since each load cannot be monitored manually but wireless way and gives the alert message of the fault on the mobile.

Abstract

Two new simple, sensitive, accurate, precise and economical spectrophotometric methods developed and validated for the simultaneous estimation of naphazoline nitrate and hydrocortisone in nasal drops. The first method is Q- absorbance ratio method. Q- Absorbance ratio method uses the ratio of absorbances at two selected wavelengths, one which is an isoabsorptive point and other being the λ-max of one of the two components. Naphazoline nitrate and hydrocortisone show an isoabsorptive point at 264 nm in methanol. The second method is based on the derivative spectrophotometric method at zero crossing wavelengths. In this method the zero crossing point of naphazoline nitrate was selected at 277 nm and for hydrocortisone it was 290 nm. The linearity was obtained in the concentration range of 6.25-36.75 μg/ml for naphazoline nitrate and 5-30 μg/ml for hydrocortisone for both the above methods. These methods are simple, accurate and rapid, those require no preliminary separation and can therefore be used for routine analysis of both drugs in quality control laboratories. The suitability of these methods for the quantitative determination of the compounds was proved by validation.

Abstract

Glycopyrronium bromide is a Anticholinergic class of drug indicated for the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary drug. Various analytical methods used for the estimation of Glycopyrronium bromide has been reviewed in this paper. These include Ultraviolet spectrometry, High performance thin layer chromatography, High performance liquid chromatography, Ion pair, to determine the amount of Glycopyrronium bromide in bulk drugs and pharmaceutical formulations and Biological Fluids. Stability indicating and impurity profiling methods for Glycopyrronium bromide are also described. These analytical methods can be used for qualitative and quantitative estimation of Glycopyrronium bromide and / or its related impurities or degradants in bulk and formulation.

Abstract

Neuropathic pain (NP) is a dreadful disease of the somatosensory nervous system with many etiologies. The antidepressant drug is recommended as the first-line drug for the management of such pain. Duloxetine (DXH) is one of the classes of antidepressant drugs having an efficient use in mild to severe pain management. There are many clinical studies conducted on DXH and tested for its effectiveness in NP. For this review articles were collected from PubMed, Science Direct, goggle scholar, and other relevant sites. This review is based on the recently updated articles on duloxetine. The inclusion criteria for this was an English, clinical study with a year of publication between mostly 2010-2020, the DXH and its treatment of NP, comparison of DXH with another drug for the treatment of NP. The only exclusion criteria for this review is the preclinical study. The study design (randomized, cross-sectional, double-blinded), compound DXH regime, outcome measure of the study, and the efficacy were taken into consideration. The present review focused on the molecular targets, challenges, formulation development, comparison with some other drugs in terms of therapeutic benefits, and tolerance with the safety issue of DXH. It was found that DXH provides impactful relief from pain but still modification in the treatment strategies for NP is required.
